Charles Grimes – Managing Director
For almost 30 years, as a Chartered Surveyor, Charles has worked in property – both in the UK and overseas – for some of the largest companies specialising in Agency, Valuations and Building Surveying.
In addition to that experience, for the last 10 years – as well as running a successful London-based Property practice – he’s also been a Director of a Training and Development Consultancy, and in the process been hired by many large global brands…Microsoft, BP, BOC, Unilever, Tesco, Virgin Atlantic – helping them breakthrough performance inefficiencies and create exceptional results.
Within “the professions”, he has acted as a consultant to both the RICS and The Crown Estate, and is a Faculty Member of a Summer School for In-house Lawyers in Queens College, Cambridge.
Simon Lord – Director
He has spent 25 years in the Estate Agency industry and has achieved success in both the Corporate and Independent sectors.
In tough trading conditions, as an Area Director of a large Corporate he brought three Agents operating in diverse markets together to deal with change and develop teamwork. He then built up his own agency into a four branch market leader which became renowned for innovation and the high calibre performance of its staff. The firm was nominated for Estate Agent of the Year and won awards for its employment policy, the Development of Young People and as a Business Supporting the Community.
As a Partner of Knight Frank, Simon successfully promoted this global brand at a local level by way of a high impact sports scholarship PR campaign.
He is a guest lecturer on Estate Agency at Kingston University, in addition to advising and appearing on ‘Location, Location, Location’.
